Percept Design drew inspiration from the universal human desire to escape the city and return to nature. The design team introduced contemporary concepts of "protection" and "extension", creating a space that respects privacy while fostering communication between urban space, nature, architecture, traffic, and humans. The result is a space that reflects the most original and expected life in the citizen's mind, offering a pure emotional touch.
The Midea Park Sales Center stands out from other designs due to its unique utilization of the site's special characteristics. The project is located in a leisure city and includes a temporary sales office with a special underground garage that has a mezzanine. The first floor serves as a reception sales area, while the mezzanine is used as a workspace for employees. This distribution adapts well to the original characteristics and perfectly meets functional requirements.
The main materials used in the project are environmentally friendly wood, moisture-proof texture paint, black serpeggiante, laminate flooring, and aluminum grille with imitation wood texture. Natural light and shadow are integrated into the design, with the natural wood color enhancing the feeling of tranquility and comfort. The changing light and shadow create a beautiful experience of time and space, offering a new immersive experience.
Despite the challenges of designing within a cramped original space and balancing creativity, limits, consumer psychology, experience needs, environmental protection, and energy saving, Percept Design succeeded in creating a space that not only serves as a sales center but also as an open public reading space for citizens. The design of booth seats creates a sense of ceremony, and the bright sunshine that enters the elegant and comfortable space gives people an experience of humanity, arts, and aesthetics.
The Midea Park Sales Center project, which began in February 2018 and was completed in June 2018, is a testament to Percept Design's commitment to creating spaces that enhance the human experience. The design team's innovative approach to integrating natural and urban elements has resulted in a space that is not only functional but also emotionally engaging, offering a tranquil, immersive environment that invites visitors to stay, read, and communicate.
